Welcome to Antonini Advogados Associados The firm was founded in the late 1950's by José Antonio Antonini, still as an individual. His first speciality was administrative law, and so the firm developed its activities focusing essentially on that area. Later, in the 1970's, as the firm's activities increased, they went on to cover the needs of its clients in the areas of civil liability, commercial law, company law, real estate, royalty, labour law and some tax, environment and community law. At the same time as the firm grew, Mr Antonini achieved several outstanding positions by being appointed to public offices, particularly the position of head legal counsel for the University of São Paulo. In the 80's new lawyers joined the firm, which led to a healthy restructuring of its areas of activity, introducing an area that has grown to become its main area of expertise. As lawyers from the area of aviation law joined the firm, among whom was Varig's legal manager, Eduardo Antonini, the firm's area of expertise shifted. The shift to a focus on air law led the firm to associate to lawyers in practically every state of Brazil.
